We spent a couple of years researching and thinking about buying some Alpacas and then we found Spring Farm which stood out from the rest, Spring Farm has about 100 alpacas, each one getting special attention, hand fed and with plenty of interaction and training. The owners, Chris & Vicki Agar, have a wealth of knowledge and dedicated passion for their Alpacas... when it comes to Alpacas there's not a lot they don't know and they are always more then willing to share their knowledge with you. Lakedown Trout Fishery is in a secluded location across the valley from the accommodation at the farm with scenic views & no visible sign of habitation. The Fishery was originally designed & created by actor & pop legend Roger Daltrey. The four spring-fed lakes totalling approximately 26 acres have an abundance of aquatic fly life and are open all year round. Also a good venue for corporate days and weddings. Local riding school offering hacking for all abilities through the countryside on private off road tracks that take you through beautiful bluebell woods, lovely orchards and open fields. For the more experienced riders there is opportunity to jump our cross country jumps. Another favourite is a relaxing hack around the lanes and cuckoo trail and a chance to stop at the local pub!!
