Private Hire

Since 1993, when permission was granted to convert redundant farm buildings, Fair Oak Farm has played host to many events and the estate continues to be available for private hire.  The Grade II listed farm buildings, the grounds and the idyllic setting are a perfect venue for wedding receptions, parties, corporate events, filming, photography and evening classes.

We enjoy the support of our local community, some of whom have farmed the land for generations, and we are very proud to support our local businesses, used so often by our customers.  It is important that this community spirit is maintained and so we will always promote the use of local business and suppliers to all of our guests and customers.

Our most popular package includes rental of all the accommodation, event management, venue hire including use of the grounds and parking in our field, a marquee which is lined, floored and furnished with comfy low seating and tables for 50-60 people, a spit roast by our local butcher, garden seating in the orchard, electrical and water supplies and temporary toilets.  Marquees can be furnished in a variety of styles to suit any occasion.

We are re-introducing farming, starting with the introduction of Alpacas and poultry so we have decided to restrict the maximum number of people at an event to 75 people, concentrating around our orchard.

We offer a comprehensive range of additional options to suit individual tastes and requirements including:
