Organised at the last minute by Hanna, The Savvy Mummy, Fair Oak Farm recently hosted the first gathering of like-minded Mums.... and their little ones.
What a great idea! Mum's getting together, providing a break from the norm and an opportunity to meet other like-minded Mum's, share their experiences and well... just have a bit of time out in the countryside.
The kids ran around like loons, enjoying an Easter Egg hunt, meeting the Alpacas, feeding the peacocks, chilling in the cinema barn and playing on the trampoline, zip wire, swings and thatched Wendy House, Teddy Bear Cottage.
When they weren't sharing experiences and getting to know each other, these savvy Mums enjoyed have their hair done, being photographed, making pizza with the kids and having a drink (or two!) at the bar and in the hot tub whilst their kids were being looked after in the house.
How much more can you fit in to two days!? Many of the Mum's openly admitted that they were apprehensive about coming along and for some, the thought of 'networking' with other Mum's was a tad scary. But the positivity from everyone was overwhelming and we look forward to welcoming everyone back again soon. You could see and feel how rewarding the experience was for all involved.
