It's impossible to pick a favourite retreat hosted here at Fair Oak Farm. They're all so varied in purpose.
However, it's also impossible not to dedicate a short blog post to one particular retreat fast approaching, in April this year.
The retreat in question is being hosted over three days, from the morning of Tuesday 18th April through to the afternoon of Thursday 20th April, led and hosted by Elizabeth Gleeson, owner of Soul Print Retreats, supported by her team, including Karolina Rus (Yoga Instructor), Alan Naylor (QiGong Facilitator), and Karen Hayler (Gong Bath Practitioner).
So why does this retreat deserve a special mention? Well, Elizabeth (or ''Liz' to us!) worked as head housekeeper here at the farm for several years.
Liz became a trusted and valued friend, who witnessed the organic growth of our family business and was an essential cog in the wheel when it mattered, helping us win awards. In fact, Liz herself collected our award for 'Best Boutique Stay in Sussex' over two consecutive years whilst she worked here and was here to receive Sussex Life's award for Outstanding Customer Service in 2018.
So, to welcome her back after several years to host her own retreat will be a real privilege.
Soul Print Retreats - Detox for the Soul
Soul Print Healing's Stepping in Retreat is intended to harness your mental wellbeing and help you step into a more confident you. It will help you discover your ability to self-heal and gain confidence.
At the time of writing, a few places are still available to book, with the option of single or shared occupancy to a private lodge, cottage or room with en-suite. Places are inclusive of all meals and refreshments and an itinerary packed full of classes, including Hatha Yoga from Sivananda traditions, QiGong, breathwork, systemic coaching and healing workshops, guided meditation and new moon ceremony around the fire pit. Prices vary according to the accommodation you choose, available on a first come first served basis.
